Real Simple Magazine May 2016 Issue: Discussion & Review
This is one of the magazines that I used to subscribe. I cancelled my subscription because I have no space for magazines that I don't really read. This magazine always has a very attractive cover photo which is what enticed me into subscribing. Among the stacks of the old issues, I had only recently read one article so far in the "Life Lessons" section. It was simply a waste of my 10 minutes. I read it because I felt curious while I was unboxing my moving box full of Real Simple Magazines. I hear that the magazine pays $2.00 for every word. But is "Life Lessons" a section that pays writers for the essay or it's a vanity section that lets writers provide free essays in exchange for a by-line? Does anyone know?
