Free copies of Time magazine are some of the perks I receive in my commoner life. I get them merely from networking. I guess it's sometimes true that it's not about how hard you work for something but who you know. My friend's mom always brought home Time magazines that her employer no longer wanted. As my friend got busier and busier in school and at work, she no longer was able to keep up with the magazines her mom got from her boss who also never got the time to read all the free magazines she received... One day I discovered that the recycling bin in my friend's garage was filled up with unread glossy magazines, so I asked to have them. Since then, my friend's mom has been diligently saving the magazines for me to pick up. I was never a subscriber of Time because I'm only interested in reading fashion magazines.
